Google To Force 30-Day Violation Status For Repeat Offenders Of Safe Browsing

Handcuffs3 Google 640

Google announced last night that they are enforcing their safe browsing violations to protect their searchers from landing on dangerous web sites. This is the malware, unwanted software, phishing, and social engineering prevention techniques Google has with Chrome and search.

Google said they are now going to issue repeat offenders notifications via the Google Search Console. Those hit with this repeat offenders notification will NOT be able to submit a reconsideration request for 30 days.

Why 30-days? Well, those who keep repeating the same offense do it over and over again because they are able to remove the offense and within days get back in Google and then slap on the malware or whatever right after. Google is looking to discourage that.
