Many of you are thinking before reading this that this story is about a Google brand image thing – nope – it is about their Google Image search product.

A week or so ago we reported that some images on Google Image search were blurry despite the fact that the original image source was not. It created a bad searcher experience for users and upset some publishers who were proud of their high quality images.

Google’s AJ said they have begun rolling out a fix for the blurry image search bug on Sunday. AJ wrote:

Of course, this took a really long time to fix from when it was originally reported as a problem in the forums. I missed it until now as well.
