SES San Jose '09 Real Live Blogging Schedule

SES San Jose is just a couple weeks away now and I wanted to let you all know, we will be true live blogging the event. Last year, I personally did not go, but we did have coverage of the SES San Jose 2008 event. This year, I am personally back and we have a great crew of volunteers helping me with the coverage.

First, let me explain what I mean by “real” live blogging. We were one of the first to do “live blogging” of search conferences (in fact, Andy Beal might have been the first, but he gladly handed that over to me in 2003). After several years of live blogging, we always received both very positive and very negative feedback. So I decided to change it up a bit and offer real-time live blogging, so you see as we type, what we are typing and what we are seeing. We first did this with our SMX West ’09 coverage and to be honest, it was a ton of fun. We will be using Cover It Live on this blog, to provide our stream of live coverage, including our notes, pictures and reader comments (yes, you can ask us questions and interact with us, while we are in the sessions).

Second, let me introduce our volunteer live bloggers to you, many of them, you already know. Chris Boggs (live blogging almost as long as I have) from Rosetta, Keri Morgret of Strike Models is back, Patty Adams from Vertical Measures and Gaurav Sharma of Think Mantra will be helping out with the live coverage. In addition, Brian Ussery will be providing some of the photography during some of the sessions. Some of the sessions we cover, will have dual coverage, some will be solo.

Third, please help contribute by giving money, sponsoring or attending the IM Charity Party at SES San Jose.
