This week, we had another, maybe larger Google algorithm update on November 7th or so that may have shifted the Halloween update. I posted the monthly Google webmaster report, so make sure to scan it. Google Search Console is testing a new property sets feature name Domain Property. Google has released their technical docs on lazy loading content for search. Google is testing multifaceted featured snippets again in the desktop results. Google is also testing bolding the URL and breadcrumbs in the snippets. Google said there is no ranking benefit for using different Google accounts for Google Analytics or Search Console. Google discover more places seems to be growing in search. Google said a space in the disavow file won’t tank your rankings. Google has a big meeting discussing the SEO feedback around snippets and the way they display search results. Google Ads has new metrics to communicate ad placement. Google Ad Grants deactivated a lot of accounts, so you may need to request reactivation. Google Local Maps now added a follow button for businesses. Google My Business launched their future open dates feature. That was this past week in search at the Search Engine Roundtable.
