Today on the Google home page in the United States, Philippines, Australia and some other countries is a Google Doodle, special Google logo, for Fe del Mundo. Fe del Mundo was a Filipino pediatrician and the first woman to be admitted to Harvard Medical School.
The Google logo depicts Fe del Mundo working with children in a beautiful scene amongst greenery, flowers and birds.
Fe del Mundo was born 107 years ago today on November 27, 1911 in Intramuros, Manila, Philippines and passed at the age of 99 on August 6, 2011 in Quezon City, Philippines.
