Jayesh Vaishnav shared on Twitter a screen shot of Google auto suggest or auto complete might be testing a design change. As you type longer queries, instead of the suggestions showing in full length below, it shows just the upcoming words. Here is a GIF of it in action that I captured, but I asked others and they cannot replicate it.
