Today on the Google home page is a Google logo, a Doodle, for the Geminid Meteor Shower. The Geminids are a meteor shower caused by the object 3200 Phaethon, which is thought to be a Palladian asteroid with a “rock comet” orbit. So technically, today’s Google logo is out of this world.

This is visible between December 4 and December 17, with tomorrow, December 14th being the peak.
