Google Insights within Google My Business is the analytics tool that shows business owners how much action their Google Maps/Local listing is getting. Currently, most of you probably get those monthly emails that share number of searches, views, clicks on your web site, phone number and driving directions.

But now, if you manage multiple locations in Google My Business, you should see a new button next to the “download locations” button for “download insights.”

The report includes the following columns of data:

Total searches
Direct searches
Discovery searches
Total views
Search views
Maps views
Total actions
Website actions
Directions actions
Phone call actions

This is a sweet feature for local SEOs and those large businesses with many locations.
