As you know, Google News revamped the home page as well as added blocking features but during the upgrade a well used feature for searching for articles and stories in “any language” went missing in action.
There were several threads in the Google News Help forum with complaints that the feature was removed. For some, it made Google News a lot less useful. One said:
Last night I emailed Google about this going MIA for a story on Search Engine Land and did not receive a response. But overnight the feature came back.
I have to assume it somehow got on Google’s radar as a bug and was fixed.
