I am seeing numerous reports from publishers that Google is having issues indexing Google News publishers and other sites. Most sites don’t seem to be having an issue but there are reports of many publishers having issues. Google said they are going to investigate the issue.

Google’s John Mueller responded to some of the complaints that he has sent these reports up to the team to look into:

This site and most sites I know of are not having issues but the issues seem to be there. Here are some examples:

A site command for [site:mixed.de] returns no results for the past week.

There are numerous complaints in the Google News Help Forums as well. It has been going on for over a week now.

It is also possibly not just news publishers:

Update, might just be the news publisher side as the example above in the tweet is resolved?

Again, this is not as big of an issue from back in November with Google News publishers or the Google indexing issues from May.
