Earlier this week, we broke the news that many publishers were accidentally removed from Google News some how. Google restored the issue several hours after we reported it but there are still some news publishers complaining they are not back in the Google Index.

If you are not back in the Google News index, chances are, you were not removed due to this bug. But if you believe you were, Valerie Streit from Google gave those publishers advice.

Valerie Streit said in a Google News Help thread that they cannot respond to all the requests in the forum and instead, you should contact the Google News help center directly for support with your site not showing.
