The new Google app on Android now gives you flight alternatives when your flight is delayed or cancelled, powered of course by Google Now.

Google announced this on Google+ saying:

Now, pleading with the airlines to get on a different flight isn’t easy and some may find the notification of alternative flights to be a tease. 😉 But truthfully, any frequent flyer already has a process for handling this, so this gives those who are not as flight savvy similar tools.
