SEOs and webmasters are talking about seeing both reversals and new changes around sites impacted by the Google Penguin algorithm this morning. These are new changes as of this morning.

Let me take you back so you have some context.

(1) Google Penguin 3.0 officially rolled out in mid-October. Google confirmed that with us and said it would roll out for some time.

(2) We’ve seen several unconfirmed cases of Penguin flutters and ranking changes impacting Penguin sites.

(3) On Thanksgiving we saw a huge shift with Penguin.

(4) Yesterday, Google confirmed those changes were part of the Penguin 3.0 rollout that is still “ongoing.”

(5) This morning, I am seeing reports, mostly in the Black Hat Forums that there are new changes around Penguin impacted sites.

Some are reporting that the gains they noticed on Thanksgiving day have been reversed and some are saying they are now noticing that some of their sites are ranking again this morning. Here are some quotes from the threads:
