Google has quietly added a line to the rich snippets – organizational help document saying they now support “any of its sub-types.”
Here is the new line added to the document:
So this means that Google supports these sub-types under the organization type:
Corporation
EducationalOrganization
GovernmentOrganization

NGO
PerformingGroup
SportsTeam
Then within each, such as the LocalBusiness schema, there are additional sub-types Google supports including but not limited to:
AnimalShelter
AutomotiveBusiness
ChildCare
DryCleaningOrLaundry
EmergencyService
EmploymentAgency
EntertainmentBusiness
FinancialService
FoodEstablishment
GovernmentOffice

MedicalOrganization
ProfessionalService
RadioStation
RealEstateAgent
RecyclingCenter
SelfStorage
ShoppingCenter
SportsActivityLocation

TelevisionStation
TouristInformationCenter
TravelAgency
And then within ProfessionalServices schema they support those sub-types:
AccountingService
Attorney
Dentist
Electrician
GeneralContractor
HousePainter
Locksmith
Notary
Plumber
RoofingContractor
I think you get the point?
