A week ago we reported on chatters and signals of a Google search ranking algorithm update. That died down a bit shortly after we wrote about it but over the past couple days I am seeing chatter and signals of another Google update. I don’t think this is a super massive update but it might be specifically targeting niches or just a test or something. It is hard to say at this point.
The ongoing WebmasterWorld thread has some chatter, it isn’t a ton. There is very little chatter in the black hat communities as well, so the chatter I’d call somewhat limited at this point. Here are some of the things SEOs are saying in the forums about this:
So there is chatter and the chatter is starting to heat up a bit this morning. We will keep an eye on it.
