Google’s Search Liaison account on Twitter announced they have translated the how search works portal into an additional 17 languages, bringing it up to a total of 40 languages you can read the portal in.

The How Search Works portal first launched in March 2013 and got a major overhaul last April.

Google also took the opportunity to remind SEOs that they updated the SEO starter guide in December with another tweet.
