There are confirmed reports in Google Places Help that in some cases, under the “from the owner” section in the Google Maps / Google+ Local business profile, HTML and other web markup may show up.

DIV tags, ULs and bullets, as well as other markup might show. Here is a screen shot:

Jade W. from Google confirmed the issue and said the team is working on a fix, she wrote:

There is not ETA for a fix but I suspect it won’t take long to clean these up.
