We are expecting Google to release the Panda 2.2 update any day now, in fact – we asked if Google already released it.
There is more speculation surfacing now in two WebmasterWorld threads that it is indeed rolling out and not only rolling out but there are signs of recoveries.
Now, I do not have official confirmation from Google on if it is rolling out now and also if it did roll out, if it was designed to fix the false positives (those that got hit by Panda and should not have).
I hope by the time this post goes live – yes, I pre-wrote it as I am on a plane most the day – that Google will confirm or deny it on the Google Webmaster Blog.
If true, then if people recovered we can then truly analyze what helped them recover and relay that information over time. As you know, to date, I do not think there were any Panda recoveries yet – I hope 2.2 changes that.
