There is a lot of speculation around the March 2019 core update that started on March 12th that it reversed what the Medic update did on August 1, 2018. While many sites did see gains after dropping from the August 1st update, many did not.

We’ve seen examples before with video thumbnails in the Google search results snippets. But it feels like Google is showing video thumbnails more often now, like they are with image thumbnails more often.

I am sad to report that the search community has lost another young soul recently. John Thyfault, the VP, Search Engine & Social Media Marketing at Beasley Direct passed away at the young age of 54.

Google Logo For Seiichi Miyake, Inventor Of Tactile Blocks
Google has a pretty cool looking Doodle, special logo, on their home page to celebrate the life and contributions of the Japanese inventor Seiichi Miyake. The logo shows of his invention, the tactile blocks or Tenji blocks, to help the visually impaired.

Neon Sign For Google Bike
Here is a photo I found on Instagram of a neon sign in the shape and colors of the Google bikes. I guess this is from the area where they have most of the Google bikes at the GooglePlex in Mountain V
