Google Panda 3.4 Rollout
Google rolled out a Panda update late on Friday. Google announced the update on twitter saying:
Panda refresh rolling out now. Only ~1.6% of queries noticeably affected.
Looking into the wording on this tweet, we can learn a few things:
(1) 1.6% of the search queries were effected, which is small but large for those hit.
(2) This is specifically a “refresh” and thus
Bing (Yahoo) Search Update – March 2012?
There is some chatter and discussion in the Bing and Yahoo WebmasterWorld forums that an update is happening or started happening a few days ago.
Senior members are taking notice and one said:

Google AdSense Phone Support Pilot
A WebmasterWorld thread has one AdSense publisher claiming he received a message from Google asking if he wants to participate in an AdSense phone support pilot program where he/she would have a phone session with a Google AdSense representative for free…
Bing Webmaster Tools Bugs?
A Bing Community thread has complaints from some webmasters saying Bing Webmaster Tools is extremely buggy.
The issues reported consist of:
(1) Not being able to add new sites to the tool.
(2) Not being able to export data from the various reports…
376QQ6 License Plate
The 376QQ6 license plate is not new but Louis Gray shared it with me on Google+ a few days ago. I don’t think we ever featured this plate in our Search Picture of the Day, so here it is.
