Google Search Console Performance Report AMP Stories Search Appearance Filter
The same day Google launched the new Discover performance report in Google Search Console, Google announced they also now let you see your AMP Stories traffic. I have not seen any examples of AMP Stories showing up in these reports, so I cannot share any real screen shots but Google did announce it.
Google Tests A More Modern Rendering Engine For GoogleBot
Just not long ago, we quoted Martin Splitt of Google saying he knows when Google will release an updated and more modern version of GoogleBot so it can render JavaScript and the modern web better but he won’t say when. Now the folks at DeepCrawl caught Google testing Google running a more modern version of GoogleBot running versions of Chrome 69 or higher.
Google Cache Date Is Old; Google Says Don’t Worry About It
There are many SEOs complaining that the cache date shown by Google is very outdated. Heck the date shown for this site is April 2nd, which is a 10 days ago. But Google’s John Mueller is telling SEO’s not to worry about it.
