Here is a recap of what happened in the search forums today, through the eyes of the Search Engine Roundtable and other search forums on the web.
Search Engine Roundtable Stories:
Google To Review Some Poor Quality Search Health Results After Medic Update
Google’s Danny Sullivan responded to one of the complaints about the quality of the search results after the Google Medic Update (not an official name given by Google) around drugs and supplemental drug searches yielding spammy and broken search results.
Google PageSpeed Insights Report Revamped With Lighthouse Data
Google seems to have just rolled out a redesign for their Google PageSpeed Insights tool. The new design shows a lot more graphical reporting, the speed score uses lab data analyzed by Lighthouse and Google is showing a lot more detail. In addition, scores that I had at over 90, some are down to 50 or so. So things have changed with this report.
Google Hotel Highlight Icons Tests Triggering Overlays
Sergey Alakov spotted a new Google hotel search results test, this one with the hotel highlight icons triggering overlays on top of the listing. This way when you click on a highlight icon, it shows you more details and you can swap to see more highlights or X out of the highlight view all together.
Google Tests Moving Magnifying Glass In Related Searches
Hold on to your hats, Google is testing moving the magnifying glass from the right side of the related searches box to the left side of that related searches box. I know, it might be too much for you all to handle – but Google is indeed testing it.
Veterans Day Logos From Google & Bing In 2018

Googlers Dress Up As Google+ Ghosts
This photo was from back around Halloween but it is pretty funny because you have Googlers at Google dressed up as Google+ ghosts. This was on the day after Halloween. We all know Google is closing
