Google made a nice number of changes to the search results, removing instant previews, adding a green arrow next to the URL, dropping related searches and removing the more by author link in the author snippet. Google also penalized Mozilla for user generated spam content, but it was only on one page and only because it had 12MB of spam. I then talked a bit more about user generated content spam and how it can impact you. Google sent out a webmaster tools message that said Googlebot can’t access your site, don’t worry about it. Google sends those messages to both www and non-www verified accounts. Google created an iOS app to manage your local listings on Google Maps. AdWords support now has screen sharing. Google’s Penguin update is now one year old. BlueGlass, the SEO firm made of giants, seems to be toppling down. We had Earth Day logos and a special logo for the Queen of Jazz.
