Today on the Google home page across most countries is a special Doodle, Google logo, for the World Cup. Clicking on the Doodle takes you to a search results page on Google for [World Cup 2018].
This search result brings up the current information around the FIFA World Cup event in 2018. Specifically Google shows the upcoming matches, scores, standings, news, players and brackets. In 2018, the World Cup takes place in Russia between Jun 14, 2018 and Jul 15, 2018. Google has prepared several Doodles for the event.
There are 32 different teams competing with a 64 matches will be played in 12 venues located in 11 cities. The final will take place on 15 July at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
