The Wall Street Journal reports that Yahoo’s CEO, Marissa Mayer said in an earnings call that they have a new deal with Oracle that when someone installs a Java update, it will prompt the user to switch their default search engine to Yahoo Search.

Java installs have done this forever, it feels deceptive and unethical but it works for market share.
