Yahoo and Mozilla announced last night that they have formed a partnership where Yahoo will become the default search provider in the US on their popular Firefox browser. This is big news for Yahoo.
Yahoo’s CEO, Marissa Mayer, said:
Part of this deal means that Yahoo will have a customized search interface for Firefox users. Yahoo said this provides a “clean, modern, and immersive search experience that will launch first to Firefox’s U.S. users in December and then to all Yahoo users in early 2015.”
