Crossword Inventor Gets A Google Doodle: A Crossword Puzzle

Tomorrow is the 100th anniversary of the first ever crossword published anywhere. It was published by Arthur Wynne, a journalist from Liverpool, England on December 21, 1913 in the New York World. To celebrate the 100th year anniversary, Google has a special Doodle live several hours before the anniversary date on Google.com.

The Google logo, aka Doodle, is an interactive crossword puzzle that you can actually play. Click the play button while on Google.com and you are taken into the game.

When you click on the search button on the logo, you are taken to knowledge graph results that explain the relationship of the [crossword inventor] as being Arthur Wynne and shows his knowledge graph on the right side.
