Google announced they added some features to AMP including a sidebar menu, social sharing embedding, dynamic CSS classes and accordions. Yes, accordions.

But you ask, didn’t Google tell us time and time again that content within hidden tabs or accordions do not rank well in Google and Google may ignore it?

Well, maybe not here?

I did ask John Mueller about it on Twitter but he has yet to reply.

Of course, this may change how Google communicates about such content. In a mobile first world, having content in tabs, accordions, etc is clearly a smart thing to do. Well, I mean, Google said so above.
