Google’s John Mueller responded to someone on Twitter who was upset that his content ranks well in India but that same content doesn’t rank well in the US based Google results. John said that not all content is relevant to all users in all locations. He added that it doesn’t mean anything is wrong with your web site, it is just how Google manages relevancy.

John wrote:

Of course, this doesn’t help this webmaster get his content to rank in the US Google results. Clearly, it seems his content is geotargeted in his local country.
