Earlier this month, Google officially made the new top down navigation menu available to all U.S. searchers.

Now Google seems to be letting the rest of the world enjoy the new navigation bar.

I am seeing more and more reports from searchers around the world that the new navigation bar is showing up for more and more users.

Last night, one Australian searcher said:

We’ve lost the sidebar in Australia along with the ability to restrict results to Australia.

Google search is now useless for most Aussie’s. Off to look for an alternative that recognises that the US is NOT the centre of the universe.

NOT HAPPY!!!

If you track the Google Web Search Help thread, you will see more and more complaints from searchers outside of the US.

So if you are eager to see the new navigation bar and you haven’t yet, expect it soon.
