Today was an interesting day, a possible Google bug is dropping pages out of the Google index like flies. No word yet from Google on what the issue is yet. There was a potential Google update on March 29th again. March was one of the more active months at Google for webmaster/SEO topics, and we posted our recap of it this week. Google is testing icons in the search results interface, I suspect this design will go live soon. Google said their Page Speed update resulted in the web getting faster. Google said links not in the Search Console report are generally irrelevant. Google Search Console said a data change may result in the enhancement reports showing more issues. Google may close the old Search Console by the end of the year. Google said the ranking algorithm allows SEOs to be unique. Google made a video on how to make React SEO friendly. Google wants your feedback on how dynamic rendering is working for you. Google is testing a new useragent named google-Read-Aloud. Google shared an indexing trick with us. Google said 301 redirects are not links. Google said if a robotted out page ranks better than your other pages, you got issues. Google Image Search is testing a preview screen. Google expanded the AMP stories to the Arts & Culture content. AMP Stories are now showing up in the search results snippets. Google+ has closed and with that the fun Google Webmaster Google+ community. That was this past month in search at the Search Engine Roundtable.
