This week in search at the Search Engine Roundtable, I post the monthly Google webmaster report. Google released a new feature that warns searches of bad mobile redirects. Google App Indexing now supports other languages outside of English. We posted poll results on Panda 4.0 recoveries, the morality of Google penalties, public disclosure on them and if you liked the new Google search results interface. Google’s Matt Cutts said the number one SEO mistake is not having a web site and Google can rank content without links, maybe. SEOs say negative SEO is so much easier now. Google gave a way to finally merge your Google+ business page with your Google Maps listing. Google AdSense has a new way to make ad units and new ad sizes. Google AdWords dropped IE9 support and Bing Ads dropped IE8 support. Google’s right to be forgotten form is up and running. Apple dropped Google from Spotlight for Bing. DuckDuckGo is now a search option on Apple OS X and iOS 8. Bing turned five this week – big happy birthday! That was this past week in search at the Search Engine Roundtable.
