This week in search, I covered some speculation around the Google Sandbox again this time asking Google’s John Mueller if there was a new Sandbox. eBay admits they were hit by a Google penalty and it cost them dearly. Google says they update manual actions in Webmaster Tools twice daily but only send out emails once daily. Google updated their Robots.txt Tester tool and it is nice. Google added International Targeting debugging reports in Google Webmaster Tools. Google now issues mobile warnings in the search results for Flash web sites. Google has a new zip code knowledge graph. Google adds Google translate box details to search results also (forgot to cover this in my video). SEO is not getting easier, so man (or women) up. Google Earnings report shows that the new ad format is working well for revenue. Google+ drops the name restrictions. Bing added their right to be forgotten form now. That was this past week in search at the Search Engine Roundtable.
