A Cre8asite Forums thread has a small business owner claiming that Yahoo charged him $299 only a few weeks before a service Yahoo is closing down.
He said Yahoo “billed the $299 to the credit card with only 3 weeks to shutdown anyway.” He is referring to Yahoo shutting the small business service later this month.
After emailing Yahoo, he did get a refund a week later. But I suspect they may have charged other customers, without them knowing and understanding that the service will no longer be provided by Yahoo.
